Community Midwives
The community midwife will share in your antenatal and post-natal care along with your doctor and health visitor. The midwife will also visit you in your home after your baby is born to advise and assist you with your personal needs and those of your baby. The hospital will advise you when you need to see the midwife.
Community Nurses
The community nursing team provide skilled nursing care in the patient’s own home and advise carers. They assess need, advice on any matters of health concern, continuing care after discharge from hospital and assist and advise carers.

Health Visitors
The health visitor is qualified in nursing and midwifery and has been specially trained to give health advice on matters relating to family and child health. They assess children’s development and also undertake health promotion within the practice.

The podiatrist holds regular clinics at the medical practice. For appointments and enquires regarding the service please contact the podiatry central booking office on 9441 3985 between 08:30 – 17:00 Mon – Thurs and 08:30 – 12:30 on Friday
